Tribute to Bappi Lahiri


India got another shock when the news of Bappi Lahiri’s death spread. Legendary Disco king Bappi Lahiri, died at a Mumbai hospital on Tuesday night, February 15, after suffering from a sleep-related breathing disorder. A number of the biggest names in Bollywood were present at the composer’s residence. Everyone had craved to see him perform live at least once in their lifetime, but they will never get that chance now. He was known not only for his legendary music but also for his humbleness and kindness.  Many super hit songs like pyaar bina chain kahan re will remain iconic forever. We will always remember Bappi Da. Plugintutor expressing heartfelt condolence to the great musician.

Tribute to Lata Mangeshkar


Lata Mangeshkar passed on to her heavenly reward at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital on Sunday morning, 6 February. She was one of the most prominent, renowned and respected playback singers in India. She has been called the Nightingale of Bollywood because of her distinctive voice and expansive vocal range, which extends through three octaves. Bappi Lahiri is an Indian musician who has composed, sung, and performed in many different languages, including Bengali, Hindi, Assamese, Oriya, Malayalam, Kannada, and Telugu. His contribution to Bengali film music is noteworthy. He was born on 8 October 1942 in a village named ‘Kanchrapara’ of 24-Parganas district (now in West Bengal), India. The son of composer and musician Raghunath Prasad Lahiri and Anjana Devi, he had an early introduction to music through his father’s band “Cine Orchestra”.
